Springer & Fersen's commitments toward associations, researchers, and sportsmen
For every Rangiroa World Diver sold in Rangiroa, Dauphins de Rangiroa founded by its president, Pamela Carzon, PhD student in marine biology, will receive a donation of 100€.
Dauphins de Rangiroa is a non-profit association that acts in favour of scientific and participative research, the recording and sharing of data about the great dolphins of the atoll of Rangiroa, in the Tuamotu archipelago located in French Polynesia.
Founded in 2019, Dauphins de Rangiroa benefits from over ten years of experience and scientific of the great dolphins monitoring in Rangiroa and an eight-years experience with eco-volunteer from everywhere gathering through the NGO Objectif Science International
The Georges Mauduit Challenge is a friendly, playful golf team competition, the playing fees of which are donated to the LFSEP. Through the Georges Mauduit Challenge, the LFSEP, a recognized association of public utility, aims at several goals: Speak about multiple sclerosis and sensitize people about it, promote the practice of sport as a way to slow down the progression of the handicap, and raise funds for the research against the disease.
The Georges Mauduit Challenge will tour 8 golfs in France in 2021 and, as every year, will take place in the presence of Georges Mauduit on July 31st and August 1st in Meribel.
This year, SPRINGER & FERSEN joins the event. Indeed the playing format will include the possibility of getting joker strings against a donation to the LFSEP.
Each player will be given the possibility to escape from a difficult situation or extend the run of his ball using a length of string. Every purchased length will also provide a lucky draw ticket, the prize of which is a Rangiroa World Diver watch, offered by SPRINGER & FERSEN.
Created in 1986 and currently chaired by Dr Olivier Heinzelf, the LFSEP acts in several fields, especially the information and support of the patients, the support of the medical research and the representation of France at international institutions.

Mathis Bourgnon, 23-year-old Franco-Swiss skipper from a great family of navigators, and regatta European champion plans to beat, together with his father, Yvan, the record for crossing the Atlantic in a sport catamaran (20ft / 6.10m) between Dakar and Pointe-à-Pitre, established at eleven days and one hour.
To support Mathis in the success of the immense challenge he has set himself to descend under 10 days, SPRINGER & FERSEN is developing a NAVIGANTE version of its Rangiroa World Diver, which will equip his wrist throughout his transatlantic journey.
The RWD Navigante will integrate a solar compass and an increased waterproofness of 600m.
It will soon be available for pre-order.
Our vision of travel is also about discovering and respecting the environment. This is why we have entrusted the Rangiroa Diving Center, whose values we share with the founder, Arnauld Avare, with the task of representing us in Rangiroa, the cradle of inspiration of Rangiroa World Diver.
With a long-term commitment to not modify wildlife behaviour, the Rangiroa Diving Center has adopted the principle of "No touching, no teasing, no taking". In this, it contributes to a sustainable approach to biodiversity by partnering with certain wildlife observatories, particularly the Rangiroa bottlenose dolphin.
We will regularly post underwater photos and videos from the Rangiroa Diving Center to showcase the wonders of the depths of the Atoll.
